SLICE OF LIFE | Jennaye (Trash)
Somehow managed to rob a house and drive on the wrong side of the road and survive. Can absolutely whoop your ass in Valorant, too.
Jennaye (pronouns: she/he/they), also known as “tinyandtrash” or simply “Trash” (we’re not kidding), is a Vietnamese-Australian variety Twitch streamer known for playing competitive games like VALORANT, but also dabbles into story-driven and horror games. Her streams are a fun and inclusive space, complete with a chat fit for the girls, the gays, and the theys. From live slam dunks to dance sessions, there’s no telling what you’ll see when you enter a “Trash” stream.
Btw, if “Trash” doesn’t ring a bell, maybe “Lord Farquaad” will? 🤔
Viv: Okay so before we start, I just wanna say
You know what’s really funny? I think this is the first time we’re like…chatting with each other. Like, ever.
Tiny: Haha yeah! I think we’ve mostly just talked on Twitter LOL
Viv: yeah! I remember when you used to post Viet stuff, and I was like “oh that’s relatable!” and you were like “Yeah!”
Tiny: HAHAHAHHA yeah that’s how we BONDED!
And we’ve been together since then. It’s nice. :D
Viv: It is! Especially since you’re all the way in Australia.
Tiny: Yeah!
Viv: I hope the concert you went to was fun, by the way! You definitely earned it after finishing a Pride Campaign with Riot. I couldn’t make it to the full livestream, but I did manage to catch a few minutes of it.
Tiny: haha that’s okay!
Viv: But it was just SO COOL to see it hosted on your channel 😀
Tiny: Yeah! I think they gave me the full creative direction for it. They were like, “you have full total control, we’ll do whatever you want to do” and i was like “Okay! That’s so nice of them.”
‘cause RIot’s a big company, so I was really scared. I was thinking to myself, “What if they don’t like my ideas?”
But they were all so chill and nice, they were like, “Just do whatever you want and we’ll just back you up.” and i was like “Okay cool!” hahaha
We ended up doing a little podcast with two LGBTQIA+ devs from Riot and gave them the space to talk about their experiences at Riot and working on VALORANT. It was a cool conversation to hear and it was nice to get their perspectives on working as LGBTQIA+ devs in the gaming industry.
And it was very positive so…you go, RIot! haha
Viv: Yeah! I watched the VOD after you finished—fortunately it wasn’t deleted. I heard you had some…issues with some VODs earlier.
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Yeah….it is what it is.
Viv: LOL
SOMEHOW that was the only VOD that wasn’t deleted, so I’m glad I was able to catch it.
I thought it was really cool that you were sitting with all of them. And like, you’re absolutely right. We don’t really see a lot of people who look like us on the backend of game dev, let alone in big titles like VALORANT and League. So it was really nice for you to spotlight a couple of them.
Tiny: Yeah! It was a really nice conversation. It’s super chill, just like this one. We all got along and no one was really nervous, so it worked out really well.
Viv: Haha l like that too. Even in competitive games, I like when people have fun. If the community was more like that, I would definitely jump into VALORANT instantly.
Tiny: Yeah no the VALORANT community is…a lot LOL
Viv: HAHAHAH
Tiny: it be like that.
Viv: BUT
This isn’t your first time working with Riot, right?
Tiny: yeah!
Viv: I remember you had a feature that was just you playing VALORANT
Tiny: Oh my god yeah, that was WAY BACK
Viv: yeah when I saw you back I was like “WHOA”
It’s so crazy
Do you know how rare it is to see another Vietnamese non-binary person in games?
Tiny: RIGHT
That is TRUE
Viv: It’s so nice because it’s like…I feel seen knowing that there’s someone out in the gaming world who looks like me
Tiny: hahahaha AWWWW
That makes me happy, that’s what i want. That’s what i want to do on social media and streaming. I just want to show representation, so i’m glad to hear that.
Viv: I’m happy to hear that!
like in that event, you worked with them to just play VALORANT on their channel.
LIKE HOW FUCKING COOL IS THAT?
Tiny: Yeah that was so cool! I got to go up against five other Rioters, so it was really nice. That one we…
It wasn’t like a podcast or anything, that one was just them highlighting different creators. We all had an hour each to play games, so I chose to play VALORANT with the devs. From there they rounded up a team of six people, I rounded up my team of six, and then just played customs and chilled.
I think I was the only one that did that. It was fun!
Viv: It’s so awesome! I feel like having more people who make the game play the game is super fun. Especially with other people too.
People normally think of game devs as people who make the game and fix the bugs and stuff, but they also play games too. They’re people, too.
Tiny: yeah, playing with the devs was a very different experience.
Viv: I don’t know if you’ve worked with other brands, but regardless, I honestly just go to your stream to just have a fun time.
I know clicking in, like…something’s gonna happen. Either you’re gonna chill out or I’m gonna walk in to you talking about Lord Farquaad or something and I’m just gonna be like “idk what the hell Tiny’s doing but it’s funny” LOL
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHAHA
I’m always doing something! Something different, something new. And I think that’s what’s fun about being a variety streamer. I get to do whatever I want and everyone in the chat’s just like, “HELL YEAH, let’s fucking do it!”
Viv: you really put the variety in variety streamer HAHAHA
Tiny: LMAO YEAH
It’s hard. I feel like sometimes it’s stressful to be a variety streamer, because your numbers always go up and down. But it’s whatever, it is what it is. Numbers are always going to be the worst enemy, so you just gotta ignore it.
Viv: It seems like the priority for people is just…it doesn’t really matter about numbers, it’s just about having fun.
Tiny: Yeah, sometimes I think I forget to have fun ‘cause numbers are just the death of me LOL
Viv: Did it make you nervous when you were starting off? I know some people see the viewer count and it scares the shit out of them.
Tiny: YEAH it’s true
But ya kno, it is what it is.
Viv: I know that you play other games too. The last time I watched you, you were playing Thief Simulator, where you did…questionable things LOL
Do you like games like that?
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHAHA
Thief Simulator is fun! Honestly I love simulation games. I don’t know why. I would LOVE to play every simulation game under the sun.
Viv: How do you feel about Powerwash Simulator?
Tiny: Oh that’s my favourite one.
Viv: *GASP*
Tiny: I LOVE powerwash
It’s SO good!
Viv: it’s also my favourite, It’s one of the only simulator games that i own, because i have that and i also have house flipper
Tiny: omg HOUSE FLIPPER
I fucking love that
Wait can we swear here?
Viv: oh yeah you’re good
I’m not censoring this shit HAHAHAH
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHAHAH
Okay sweet
Viv: YEAH
But no i love powerwash simulator, house flipper is great
I think i have all of the DLCs for both?
Tiny: i can spend HOURS on that game and just relax
Also there’s a new game that i’m into. It’s called “colouring pixels”
Viv: Colouring pixels?
Tiny: and it’s FREE
Yeah it’s like a colouring book, but it’s online
It’s a “colour by numbers” kind of thing, it’s so fun. And the music is so relaxing, so i’d spend the night just playing it.
Viv: like off stream?
Tiny: no no ON stream!
Viv: OH
Tiny: YEAH
We’ll all just chill, it’s super good
Viv: so on top of having your chaotic moments on stream, you also have super chill moments.
The way you treat your variety streams just sounds like you’re just there to have a good time
Tiny: YEAH PRETTY MUCH
I think that’s the important thing is that…you just gotta have a good time.
Otherwise, it starts eating you up if you’re not having fun. Then your content doesn’t become as fun because people can see that you’re stressed on camera, live on stream. So that ruins the vibe a bit.
Viv: Yeah I notice that with some people
When you’re focused on the streaming aspect, you forget to have fun. So streaming feels more like work, and i don’t think people want to do more work…after work.
Tiny: Yeah!
Even for me like, now it’s almost like a job. It’s more stressful for me now than when I first started.
Viv: Oh really?
Tiny: yeah
Cause i feel like i have to keep up with so many things now…so many friendships, trends, content, social media platforms
And then if i go ghost even for a bit, i get scared and start thinking stuff like “I’m not good enough” or “are people going to forget me?”
And then the numbers tank. It’s just a vicious circle.
Viv: UGH yeah the grind culture kinda seeps in and you’re like “if i’m not doing THIS, then i’m not doing enough”
Like the productivity thing
Tiny: YEAH
YEAH EXACTLY
Viv: I know that some people I know had this mindset of “if you’re not ‘on’ 24/7, you were not being productive enough.”
Idk how much time you commit to streaming now, but I imagine you probably started streaming for fun rather than have that mindset LOL
Tiny: yeah, but i enjoy it though. It’s still something i wanna do. I just need to..be more productive I guess
Viv: TINY
LOL
Tiny: HAHAHAHA
Viv: I mean if you think about it, rest is pretty productive too.
Getting some sleep and taking care of yourself, etc
Tiny: yeah that’s true
Viv: But that all said, I think the friends you’ve probably met through Twitch, they know how stressful it is to be a public figure and try to support you how they can
Maybe that’s a good payoff—your community looks out for you the same way you look out for them
Tiny: yeah exactly!
Viv: let’s get into the very beginning when you started streaming btw. How this all started.
Tiny: Oooo alright
Fun times, those were the days LOL
So i first started as an animal crossing streamer
Viv: OH!
Tiny: YEAH
It was during COVID, I was a COVID baby and started May 2020
Cause i used to watch a lot of Fortnite streamers, so before the streaming started, i played a LOT of Fortnite. I used to play Fortnite EVERY day—it was my favourite game!
Not now, though LOL
So because of that, i would find streamers on youtube. I used to watch youtube streamers a lot, and from there i got interested. I was like “oh maybe I could do this” because it looks fun
Playing games on the computer, hanging out with people, I was like, “sure. Maybe I’ll do it one day.”
And then animal crossing came out, covid was here, everyone was at home. We were just up all night playing animal crossing for like, who KNOWS how many hours with friends overseas.
So i started streaming for fun because i wanted to show people when my island was open so my friends could come over and we could just hang out and talk or whatever.
Ever since then, people started to find me.
Before all this happened, I had never streamed on Twitch before. I didn’t know what Twitch was, I never watched Twitch streamers, so Idk what I was expecting. People started to find me and i’d be like “hey! People are here!”
And sometimes, when i’m about to end stream, one of them will raid and I’d be like “oh WHAT now??”
Viv: LMAO
Tiny: YEAH I didn’t know what raiding was at the time
I didn’t know ANYTHING about Twitch. I knew NOTHING.
Everything i’ve learned, i learned on my own and from watching other people and other streamers. I just wanted to get to know the platform better.
And look at me now LOL
A few years later, who would have thought haha
The first few months or so, i was an animal crossing streamer, which was fun! i loved it. I met so many cool people with that, and now I know some of them IRL.
But animal crossing was just not the game that I could keep playing. There’s only so much you can do, you know
So that’s when I started to play different stuff. Then VALORANT and other games came out. From there i was just finding more people every day and just having fun.
Viv: that’s the dream isn’t it?
THAT’S how adults make friends nowadays—you got on Twitch and you play games.
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHA YEAH
Pretty much, i mean that’s how I meet a lot of people nowadays
Viv: that’s super cool 😀
Who’s your favourite animal crossing villager, btw?
Tiny: TUTU
Tutu’s my favourite. She’s so underrated.
How about you?
Viv: Okay so everyone knows me for loving clowns and stuff, so they think I'll say Pietro.
BUT
Recently (and by recently I mean like a week ago)
I discovered PANGO
Tiny: Who’s Pango?
Viv: She’s like this colourful snooty anteater
Tiny: OH!
I’ve never seen her before
Viv: I never even HEARD of her before until she visited my island
She’s like the perfect blend of snooty and fashionable
…Also I’m pretty sure she’s lesbian-coded
Tiny: AYO??
Viv: LISTEN i’m not here to theorize which villagers are queer-coded
But I don’t think any lesbian out there WOULDN’T like Pango
Tiny: Honestly every animal crossing villager is gay, in my opinion
Viv: YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK YOU’RE RIGHT
Miss “Let’s go lesbians!”
Tiny: HAHAHHAHAHA YEAH
Viv: I feel like I’ve heard it before, where did it come from?
Tiny: It’s from a YouTube video!
Viv: OH THE ONE VIDEO WITH THE DUDE THAT’S LIKE “LET’S GO LESBIANS”
Tiny: YEAH YEAH THAT ONE
HAHAHAHAHHA
Viv: HAHAHAHAHA
I hear you say it all the time, so i see it as part of your brand
I saw your tiktok where you used the “Let’s go Lesbians” sound and your transition from long hair to short hair, and your outfit changes too
Tiny: oh my god, the long hair days
It’s DISGUSTING
Viv: I mean my hair’s pretty mid
mid-LENGTH, not mid as in bad
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHA
I’m dead, dude
Viv: LOL
So I used to have long hair, and it did not fit with me as someone who doesn’t really align with either femininity or masculinity
But THEN
DUDE
I got a wolfcut recently, and once I looked in the mirror I was like “THIS is me.”
“This is MUCH MORE FITTING”
I gotta cut it more often, but it’s worth it.
Tiny: Yo wolf cuts are so in right now, it’s so good
Viv: IT’S SO GOOD
It fits with EVERYTHING in my closet.
But I’ve pondered the thought of short hair. Idk about me tho, but it looks good on YOU
Tiny: OH! Haha aww
Viv: yeah especially when you have it in different colours. How do you pick your colours?
Tiny: well the last one I did was a sub goal. When i went pink buzzcut, that was a sub goal.
Viv: OH so you’ve done more than one colour?
Tiny: Yeah yeah yeah
So before the last one, every time I dyed my hair was because I wanted to dye my hair, but the last one I did was for a sub goal for a subathon, so that was nice.
Viv: WOW
Tiny: YEAH
And now I’m trying to grow it back to get my mushroom hair
Viv: It looks SO good
Tiny: HAHAH thank you!
It was a wise choice.
Viv: I think it’s a good choice, yeah! That colour’s nice. The blonde you had before suited you too!
Tiny: Yeah! I really like pink, but like my favourite one was probably the pastel pink that I done like a year ago
I’m always changing my hair, I’m just fucking…obsessed. I get so bored with my black hair LOL
Viv: Hahaha that’s valid! Have you always been a fan of dyeing your hair?
Tiny: Yeah I always like doing something new to my hair.
Viv: I feel like dyeing hair is part of almost every queer person’s identity LOL
Tiny: hahaha yeah everyone’s always commenting on how often I change my hair, but I really like it!
Viv: and it goes with your outfits!
Tiny: I try my best with my fashion.
Viv: At least you save on shampoo
Tiny: OH MY GOSH
TRUEEEEE
Having short hair is so good
But like, my hair grows out so fast when I DO do something to it, so it doesn’t last as long
Viv: OH MY GOD SAME
My hair grows really fast, but it also grows out SUPER thick
Tiny: OHHH WHAT
REALLY???
Viv: YEAH
So I have to get it thinned out every time I go to the salon
So i’m going to the viet salons and there’s SO much hair that I hear the salon ladies speaking in Viet they’re like “OMG you have so much hair”
Tiny: See I’m the opposite
Viv: REALLY?
Tiny: YEAH
my hair’s really thin. I wish I had thick hair
Viv: I mean I guess it has its perks.
It takes longer to dry for sure.
Like when I get my hair done, they usually wash it before they cut it
So when they get to the drying part, since my hair’s so thick, the salon lady would use a blowdryer and then pull out a second one from the next station over and give it to me and be like “you’re helping me dry your hair”
And I’m like “oh my god I didn’t pay for this LOL
Tiny: Holy
HAHAHAHA
Viv: Yeahhhhh
But i used to want to have your hair, I wanted it to be thinner
Tiny: Really?
Viv: YEAH
Cause like remember those days when people had the mullet/jellyfish cut? I wanted those
Tiny: LOL damn
You know what? You should do it.
Viv: MMMMmmmmmmm I’ll think about it
I’m comfortable with the wolfcut, but if I want to cut it on a whim, then i’ll do it
ANYWAY BACK TO THE TOPIC OF LESBIANS
I see that it’s a huge part of your brand, so much so that you have a bot called “ledollarbean”
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHAH YES
Das me
I love having the “le$bean” bot on my channel. It’s so funny, some people think it’s real, but it’s just a bot
Viv: What does the bot do?
Tiny: just the usual twitch commands and stuff.
Viv: OH okay GOT IT
It’s so adorable it fits you HAHAHAHA
Tiny: HAHAHA THANK U
Viv: OH BTW I wanted to say
Obviously your main platform is Twitch and then you upload stuff on socials, but I also see you do work with Twitch ANZ
Tiny: AH yes!
Viv: Yeah I see you do a lot with them, and in general I see a lot more spotlighting going on with Twitch ANZ than…global Twitch LOL
Cause it’s usually very…broad
Tiny: Yeah the main Twitch doesn’t really do much outside of events or branded content. It’s not as personable
WIth ANZ, because we’re so small (the partnerships team), we have a lot more to work with. They’re able to do so much more with us, which is nice. Not only do they highlight partners, but they also highlight affiliates, and they let affiliates get involved with subfest and stuff.
It’s really nice, they really care about their creators. They really do their best to accommodate everyone, so it’s really good that TwitchANZ wants everyone to feel included.
Viv: Global Twitch better take notes
HAHAHAHA
Tiny: LMAO
Viv: I see you promoting them a lot, and with all streamers, you wouldn’t promote something just because. But I feel like with TwitchANZ, they’re promoting you because they want to include you. And that’s what media platforms should be like.
They should let the creators do their thing, and help with the marketing and stuff.
Tiny: yeah! It’s really nice that twitchANZ works with us and puts us on the front page when needed, and they’re very lenient
I wish all brands could work with us the same way.
Please, i need money LOL
Viv: LOL
PLS GIVE TINY MONEY
It’d be nice for more streamers to go full-time, if that’s their dream
Tiny: It would be nice, yeah. But it’s hard to be full-time.
At least for me, because I don’t have enough resources
Viv: you know…Vvlid
So streaming’s more of a hobby for you then?
Tiny: Yeah
I mean well…It’s weird. it’s like a half hobby, half not-hobby
I want to “make it”, but at the same time it’s so hard ‘cause it’s so unpredictable and just depends on where your content goes. How it performs on each social platform, how it gets pushed out to each audience, etc
I want to focus more on short-form content, so like TIkTok and YouTube shorts, but it’s so hard to get the views in
It’s SO HARD
Viv: yeah it’s hard cause you don’t know how they’ll perform.
Like one video you could work really hard on might not perform well, but one that you just kinda..shat out your ass gets a million views
Tiny: HAHAHAHAH YEAH
I’d spend so much time to edit one video and then it doesn’t get any views
But then i do a fucking shitty, meme-y video and that one does well and i’m like “HUH????”
The algorithm is weird
Viv: so does this mean that you’re sitting on a bunch of TIkToks or Shorts that you really like but they’re really low in views?
Tiny: YEAHH! I really thought they’d pop off
YouTube Shorts is actually harder for me
Viv: Really?
Tiny: Yeahhh…when I post, it doesn’t get a lot of traction.
I want to get better at YouTube though, because I feel like that’s where a lot of things are. I guess I just gotta post more, and market it somehow.
Viv: well yeah that’s the thing too
As a creative, not only are you in charge of not only creating your videos, you have to market them too
And that’s tiring…for ANYONE
Tiny: Yeahh i know, and I don’t have money for marketing posts and stuff
So i guess i just gotta keep trying
Viv: THese companies really gotta pay you more
I wanna see more people like you on the front page
I’m so tired of seeing like
Tiny: White people?
Viv: YEAH
Or the same big creators, like the ones we ALWAYS see in the carousel.
Twitch needs to start posting other people, too
Like you and your friends are ENTERTAINING
Why aren’t you all on the carousel more often?
Tiny: YEAH
Give us our momenttttt
HAHAHAHAHA
Yeah sometimes it feels like it’s only about the views and money, and if you don’t do enough you don’t get seen
But that’s why I’m so glad for companies like Riot Games, because even though I’m a small creative, they’re still willing to work with me, which shows they care
Viv: Yeah! There’s so much talent out there that’s fun to watch on Twitch
Like I love the super unhinged streams where people have the most chaotic energy
Compared to the people who do subathons and there are just ads everywh—
YOU EVER WATCH THOSE STREAMS WHERE THERE’S JUST SO MUCH SHIT ON THEIR STREAM
And you don’t even see them anymore
Tiny: YEAH it’s so weird
I try not to have a lot of stuff on the stream so that you can still see me
Viv: WHICH IS SMART
I wanna see more of THAT
And I wanna see more of YOU
Like I said before, when I heard that you’re Vietnamese and non-binary I was like YES
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHA
FINALLY
Viv: YEAH
And you probably feel the same when you meet another Viet person
Tiny: YEAHHHH
I get so excited when I meet another Viet or another Southeast Asian person
I’m like “OMG”
“ONE OF US, ONE OF US”
It’s so rare and hard to find, especially with the new Twitch tags.
Viv: wait so how do the new tags work?
Tiny: so the new tags, you type them in this time, so everything’s all manually typed
It used to be pre-filled, so there would be a certain way to spell things so it’d be easier to click it and find people
But now people have so many different tags. Like some people will put “lgbtq”, and other people will put “lgbtqia” or different variations of it
So it makes it a bit harder to find other people because now everything’s all mumble-jumbled
Like if you write “Southeast Asian”, it’s a whole word and it’s not separated anymore
Viv: ughhhhhh
Idk how i feel about that
Tiny: yeah
I mean it’s alright, but it’s just…people will have different variations and it makes it hard.
Viv: yeah idk why that’s a thing, they should get their shit together
Tiny: yeahhhhh
Viv: OKAY
TIME FOR THE LAST SECTION
Which prompt do you want?
Tiny: Aww shiet…THIS IS HARD
Viv: I’ve made it hard on PURPOSE
So I’m curious to see which one you want
Tiny: Hmm…
You know what, give me a top 5 topic.
Viv: OHHH ALRIGHT
This one is a bit of a selfish request
Why don’t you tell me your top 5 favourite vietnamese dishes that are NOT noodle soups.
Tiny: NOT NOODLE SOUPS?
Viv: YEAH BECAUSE
Everyone knows about phở and bún bò huế and stuff
Tiny: Bro bún bò huế is my favourite tho!
Viv: *GASP*
Tiny: like i’m a bún bò huế person, i’m not a phở person
Viv: ME TOO
Tiny: oh my GOD YEAH
It’s always phở this, pho that, what about the bún bò huế man?
Viv: AGREED
Tiny: alright okay so, not noodle soups…
I really like bò lúc lắc, it’s one of my favourites to eat
I love it, i like the beef and how it’s made with the red rice
YUMMMM
Viv: OH MY GOD YES
I LITERALLY HAVE RED RICE IN MY FRIDGE
I want to buy some beef so i can make bò lúc lắc
Tiny: OMG
Maybe i should get some too
Viv: LOL
Tiny: okay the next one would be cơm gà da giòn
So crispy chicken with red rice, that’s my next favourite
Viv: DUDE THAT’S LITERALLY WHAT I HAVE IN MY FRIDGE
Tiny: WAIT YOOOOOOO
This is a sign
Viv: YEAH
But i think what i have is cơm gà rô ti
Tiny: Ahhh!
See do you know what’s funny though
Even though we’re from different parts of the world, our vietnamese accents are the same
But like we talk in different english accents
That’s crazy right?
Viv: OH MY GOD
YEAH
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Viv: WAIT THAT’S SO—
HOLD UP
WHOA
Tiny: HOLD ON
Cause you’re from the South, right?
Viv: yeah my parents are from the South.
Tiny: yeah yeah yeah
Same same same
So we both have the same accents
This blows my mind every time, cause i found out from a friend who’s from America, but then when they speak Viet, it’s the same way as how I speak Viet.
But in English I have an Australian accent and they have an American accent, so it’s very different
Viv: THAT’S SO TRIPPY
OMG
Tiny: YEAHHH HAHAHAHAHA
Viv: so if we both went to vietnam and just spoke to each other in vietnamese
No one would guess….
Tiny: no one would guess that we were Australian and American
That’s wild, right?
Viv: YEAH
THAT’S SO TRIPPY
Tiny: that’s the cool thing though, it’s funny
Viv: this is the highlight of this feature ANYWAY GO ON
Tiny: HAHAHAHAHAH YEAH
Okay okay uhh…
Bánh xèo is probably my next one. Vietnamese pancakes
DELISH
Dip them in nước mắm, it’s DELICIOUS
Viv: OH
Did your parents do the thing where they just make an endless amount
Tiny: oh yeah HAHAHAHA
Viv: with different pans
YES
Tiny: they just keep on making it and making it and making it omg
But it’s so good
Hmm what else is there…
OH
Obviously bánh mì, that shit’s GOOD
Viv: YES
Which one is your favourite?
Tiny: the one with the pork slices
Viv: oh bánh mì đặc biệt?
Tiny: YEAH that one
Damn I’m really not allowed to say bún bò huế?
Viv: NO NOODLE SOUPS LOL
Tiny: AW SHIT Okay okay…
OH OH OH
Bánh tiêu is my FAVOURITE
Viv: *GASP*
Tiny: the vietnamese donut
Viv: THE DONUT WITH THE SESAME SEEDS???
Tiny: YEAH YEAH THE SESAME SEEDS
And it’s hollow inside
It’s so sweet and SO GOOD
Viv: omg YES
Tiny: it’s one of my favourites
Viv: THOSE ARE SO GOOD
Omg now i’m craving cơm gà
Especially with the đồ chua, the pickles
Tiny: OHHHH THE CARROTS?
THE PICKLED CARROTS?
Those are my favourite
Viv: YEAH
A lot of foods are so rich so eating it with rau and đồ chua is so good
Man Viet food is so good
The desserts are good too
Tiny: YEAHHH
I always get chè ba màu when I go to a cafe
Idk what it’s called in english, but I also like bánh bò
Viv: OH the little steamed rice cakes?
Tiny: YEAH YEAH those are so good
Viv: THOSE ARE SO CUTE
Tiny: OOOO sticky rice is so good too
When I go to Vietnam, I always get sticky rice from the carts
It comes in different colours too, I usually get the purple one when I go to Vietnam
And every morning I’d eat soft tofu in the market
The one you eat at the dim sum
Viv: OH THOSE ARE REALLY GOOD
I know when I go to the markets here I buy the soft tofu in giant containers and then we get the ginger syrup on the side and coconut milk and put it together
It’s SO GOOD
Tiny: OMG YUM
Damn I’m hungry now
Viv: ME TOO
Okay let’s wrap up here before we get TOO hungry
Are there any last minute things you want to say, advice, guidance, etc?
Tiny: Hmmmmmmmmm
Just have fun.
HAHAHAHAHA
Viv: HAHAHAHA
Tiny: Have fun, don’t let numbers eat you up, and take care of yourself always.
Always put yourself first.
I think burnout is probably one of the worst things to go through, and a lot of us don’t take care of ourselves that well.
So we just need to remember to take care, have fun, and be happy.
Viv: I think everyone needs that, especially after the last few years
Tiny: Yeah exactly
If anyone wants to get into streaming, I highly recommend it. It might be very daunting at first, but it could be worth it in the end.
I started from scratch, and here i am now.
Viv: they grow up so fast *tear*
Tiny: YEAH! Three years.
Make genuine connections, you never know where they might lead you to.
Viv: yep, you really never know.
